When you reinstall the RR (pedestal mount) what do you torque them down to, or do you tighten them until you cant tighten them anymore?
If the lower intake gaskets look ok can they be reused( i know i am being cheap) and what do you torque the lower to 2o lbs final?
Also is there a way to check the injectors when they are not in the car to see if they work good. Is there a good way to clean them with them out of the car.
Does anyone know of anykind of way to hook up the radiator hoses with the -an line or type hose, or any thing other than the regular rubber.
Also why do most people use distilled water in the radiator for the cooling system rather than just tap water, is it better to use city water or just well water if you don't use distilled.

sorry for a bunch of stupid questions, but some stuff i have just been wondering about for a while. Good time as any to ask i guess

thanks
Jason

Pedastals....they get tq'd 18-22 ft lbs

If the gaskets look ok, you could prolly get away with it....the 1250s have that Blue around the ports, long as they're not spanked,,your prolly ok...i have used the u/l gaskets multiple times as well as the rubber ends..

the lower is tqd 18-24 ft lbs...in sequence and in 3 phases....

distilled water is much better that city or well water....just go to the store and buy that bottled drinking water for like 2/1.00....least it aint got all the chemicals regular water does...well water can be either hard or soft with tons of iron, mangagnese and such...corrodes the entire system quicker....
