Other than the oil seal that's in the axle tube and the axle flange gasket. What other seals are required?I've read there's supposed to be a both inner and outer oil seals. In the shop manual it looks like only one inner seal.

I got a set of tapered roller bearings when I changed to a set of Moser 31 spline axles. If you get this type of bearing, there's only 1 seal on the bearing itself and then the gasket for the flange. Simple and no pressing it the inner/outer seals required!

Got the axle shafts in over the weekend.According to the shop manual the torque spec for the end cap bolts is 90 to 120ftlbs.These are the 1/2 inch bolts that attach the caliper mounting braket to the axle flange.does that torque spec seem right for that application?:nono:

End cap bolts are those bolts that hold the spool in place if I'm not mistaken.
