Vert rear window Adhesive?

Ok, so when i got the car, i installed a top off ebay for 120$ and even made a handy dandy thread on how to do it and what to use:

little did i konw that a few months after installation, that the window would separate from the vinal, pissing me off. it doesn't leak and no one probably even notices it but me, but i can see where it's starting to warp and WILL cause leaking in the future

does anybody have any suggestions on what kind of glue, adhesive, or resin to use to reattatch this thing so i don't have to worry about it for a while?

i've tried 2 different superglues and even fiberglass resin for sh1ts and giggles even though i knew that wouldn't work (i had it out while i was resining my corner light leaks so i figured what the hell)

I took mine to a shop & they used some black window goop. Has worked for the past 2 years.

hmm, i think i'll get some quotes on that...

i kinda wanted to do it myself so i wouldn't have to spend $$ on labor (me being a cheap b@stard and all)

If you get the work done, ask them what they used. I am having the same problem, except mine does leak a small amount. I definately dont want to pay someone to do it. I just dont drive in the rain right now (drive a 4-banger to work n back heh)

Mine did that - about six years ago - I sealed it with stuff in a tube I got at WalMart called 'Automotive Goop' http://eclecticproducts.com/goop/ad_automotive.asp

I cleaned both surfaces with acohol, masked areas I didn't want to cover, applied it and taped it down for 24 hours.

Six years later, it is still solidly attached.

My old one started to seperate and it was 3M taped in. I got a sewn in rear glass curtain off eBay to replace it.
