Just looked to thin and to dark for MDF loked like just regular fibre board.
But I was thinking black silicone, is it really soft? Ive done a lot of thoes in 1/4 MDF for pure hate of the plastick adapters they make for that. The thin ones always buzz, at least the MDF keeps the buzz down

I have 3 diamond D6 10s in a custom sealed box with a kenwood 2400 watt amp kenwood DDX-6019 deck and can get about 137 db out of it with all the windows and top rolled up it hits hard top up or down . Sealed box is about all you can do in a vert unless you want to go with a single small woofer. I had 2 12" polk audios in a sealed box that scored 139.5 db and won 1st place in spl contest for the compact car under 1000 watt class. I dont have pics of the polk system but here are some pics of the diamond 10s. I will update the pics when I get a chance to go to my garage and get some more detailed pics of the stereo system.

SUBWOOFER 100W 14" SPARE TIRE MOUNT

Spare Tire Subwoofer for most 14" or larger spare tires

This subwoofer fits inside most 14" or larger spare tires or is compact enough be mounted in a variety of other locations. With its 100-watt integral amp, it' s ideal for adding bass where space is at a premium.

would a SOLO-BARIC L7 15inch speaker will be to big for a vert?My brother in law has the set but I think two will be to much for my needs. Would a 15 in be to big for my trunk?Look like this something like this

Building a box for a L5 15 in the trunk of a vert would be a major PITA.

Well it could be done if you do a fibreglass box with the sub angled foreward. It prolly wont sound that great ( pair of rear firing tens would be better) but itd be pretty loud. I cant remember the box size required for L5s but if they have a smaller magnet and require the same box size you could do it.

those are interesting. one thing i hae about converts. hard to do a decent radio for the, love everything else. i got 2 6" by 9" speakers in the back of my stang. nothing in the doors or dash. took them out. they were blown. going to get some decent 6" speakers for doors and some for the dash and a 10" sub like i had in my SC. hit hard for a small sub. would be plenty for the country music and occasionally rock i listen to.
