Can anyone tell me if the foxbody and sn95 vert top motors are interchangable?

Nope, 83-93 and 94-98 are different.

So what's the difference?

One word answers leave much to be desired. Can you elaborate on the differences and whether or not the differences are even significant? So what is the difference, pressure, gears??

Personally, I doubt that they can't be interchanged. Currently, I own a 68, 88, and 95 vert top motor. I can't see that they wouldn't interchange. What am I missing?

A little more info would be great, I thought I read that someone was using an sn95 top motor for a 60's vert.
So if someone has the particular's as to why?

I don't know the difference, but I did a quick search on the web and LMR sells them seperate, so the safe bet is there must be a difference.

the top motors should be the same from 65-present. its a simple hydraulic pump and the same design has been used for the last 40 years.

stykthyn is right. I have a 66 top motor in my 93 right now. 65-93 all for top motors are the same.
