I got an email that looks like a forum I belong to was hacked. Is this one of the many using verticalscope?

I thought this thing was a "vertical scope"

I think mostly just to be an ass. It appears that they hacked and published usernames and passwords then published them just to claim a hacking prize.

No rhyme or reason other than the service made themselves a target. They (verticlescope) did a really nice job of getting hacked. lol

yeah i was sent an email from the corral a few weeks ago after being locked out for a day.. Had to change my pw and now all is well.

They would never try and hack stangnet with our resident security watchdog noobz. He'd reverse hack them and load endless loopong justin bieber memes and mexian midget **** on their computers.

For Mike, they own the software. and probably host MANY discussion group sites, and a lot of them are motor sports related. I think I do not belong to the corral, so I still am trying to figure out which site I lost a password to.
As far as why, if you use "12345678"
For all your passwords, with an email, a user name you like, and the ip you use, they can log onto banks in your area, go on Amazon, Google, Facebook and Ebay and really screw with your $ and digital life.
