Anyone know why a clutch fork would vibrate? I can grab it when the car isn't running and move it back and forth a little. It doesn't look like the throw out bearing is the culprit since it stays pretty much in place.
No...side to side movement. Enough that it vibrates and I can feel it through the floor. It gets really bad in fifth at speed.im not sure i understand what you mean.the cluth fork is supposed to move,it slides front to back as well as the throwout bearing.
Is it an aftemarket? If so probably the springs worn.My did the same thing, just adjust the clutch and it not viberate any more ?
Since we on tranny thread, if i move my shifter to the right it stay their and will not go back to the middle, and if I move my shifter to the right it will go back to the middle my itself. any opinion ?
Well that didn't work. Broke the clutch cable. My did the same thing, just adjust the clutch and it not viberate any more ?

Throw out bearing. If it isn't going out then you may quiet it down with some lithium grease.Mine actually makes this annoying squeak at idle, it drives me nuckin futz.
that was your prob. any time you get play in the fork and is not the throw out bearing, the cable needs to be adjusted or you have a stretched or bad cable

It was an original cable. I hope it isn't the fork but I guess if it is I can take the time to replace the cheap throw out bearing Spec has with there clutch and put in a quality piece. How old was your clutch cable ? Maybe the ball stem on the inside of the bell housing that the clutch fork pivots on is worn, possibly along with the clutch fork ?
Nah...don't have one local so I have to order it. Haven't got around to it.Have you got the new cable in yet ?
