Hi everyone. I got a 1994 Mustang GT convertible 5 speed about a month ago. It has this vibration that drives me crazy. I can't tell if its coming from the driveshaft or tranny though. It only occurs between 10-15 MPH. And that is usually when I am driving through a parking lot of my apartment complex. It doesn't happen any other time. I was thinking about putting an aluminum driveshaft on hoping to eliminate this problem. What do you guys think?

Thanks,
Shaun

It could be your U-joints.

After you get somewhere, say the mall, and you drive slow.. doe's it do it then? Mine has a vibe after not being driven for awile, goes awy after a couple minutes.. tires warming up is what I think..

replace the driveshaft with an aluminum one and replace both u joints. if it doesnt fix it, at least you have a new driveshaft

It does it anytime I am going 10-15 MPH constantly, like a parking lot. I was thinking it was the u-joints also, luckily the Ford Motorsport comes with HD universal joints already installed. I guess I will go ahead with the driveshaft swap. Its easy and relatively cheap, so I guess I really don't have anything to lose...
