Vibration problem

So im getting this annoying vibration through the whole car after 115 mph. It dosent shake the steering wheel and I can tell its eaither the drive shaft or the rear end. The rear does not make any noise at all normally but at that speed I cant tell. So before I throw parts at it has anyone ever gotten a high speed vibration from gears before? Or is it more than likely the drive shaft and I should just man up and get a FRPP aluminum one?

I have the same problem. It's only in 5th gear correct? When I'm hitting 115-120 in 5th it feels like the car is going to shake apart. Then once you hit about 130-135 it goes away and is smooth. I do believe it is a drive shaft related issue because of gears. From the information I've seen, FRPP alum drive shaft should correct your problem.

check the U joints, mine did this as well but at 85-ish... was a bolt backing out.

My vibration is through the whole car. I top out 4th around 115-120 and then hit 5th and it feels like the car is coming apart.

check the U joints, mine did this as well but at 85-ish... was a bolt backing out.

Anyone know the torque specs for the u-joint bolts?

my car did the same thing but it was around 130-145 mph. with the new T56 and driveshaft it did not vibrate at all up to 157

this was at the 2 mile track by my house BTW

mine was at 85ish as well. Im going to tell my good friend to tighten up the U-Joints as well.
