i have a 2000 mustang with a terrible vibration when im going between 40-60 mph. i took it to a shop and got the tires balanced, I was also going to get an alignment but my rack and pinion mount bushings were offset and needed to be replaced before i get the alignment. i got the bushings but have yet to replace them cause there is no play in the steering and the steering feels fine...im pretty stumped on what the problem could be and many of my friends are too. any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

The post does not say if the vibration is from the front or the rear.
If the rear, think U-joints.
Tell us about your rims and tires. Skinny tires? Hit any curbs lately? If the rims are out of true, it won't matter if balanced. The ride will still be rough.
This could also be ball joints, worn wheel bearings, or worn shocks.
