yikes. I doubt anyone likes to answer these questions. Push rod length has to be measured. valve to piston clearence also has to be measured. It's really hard to say. I understand why you are asking because no one wants to fork out the cash and then find out it doesn't fit. If the heads don't clear because of the larger valve then yes all you would have to do is have the pistons notched.

Wow that is a lot of head for a basic 306. The best heads for that would be AFR 165's hands down. Unless you have a blower or are turning some high rpm victor's are too much. Don't let the "jr" fool you, have you ever seen Victor SR's?

u will need to flycut the pistons. u will need to determine how much to flycut when u have chosen ur cam. probably best to go custom cam from cam motion or FTI. they will probably be able to tell u how much to flycut to get the required P/V clearance.then u need to measure to get correct pushrod length.

Big heads and a tiny cam equals a dog. u will need a bigger cam to take advantage of the big heads along with a intake like a RPM ll or Holley systemax ll if EFI. if u want an out of the box HR look at Comp Cam XE282HR, one bad ass cam. or one from AFM.

as mentioned above..that will not be a fun combo...bigger is not always better...but it can make you slower. Small valve eddy heads or another of the major brands and you'll better. As for the valve clearance...um no you won't clear.

You will FLY with victor jr heads on your 306 with the right combo. When you just throw stuff together you usually dont get good results and most of the times people will blame the heads for being "too big" when in reality the problem is the combo is just all wrong.

Done right and that combo would be AWESOME on the street!!
