VIN mistake??

Hello, I’m the owner of a 1965 fastback 2+2. I bought it from my uncle and believe I am only the 3rd owner. I have had her for about 2 years but helped in repainting her in high school 25 years ago. My uncle had her for at least 35 years. I decided to decode the VIN and noticed that it states it’s a coupe, or Hardtop on some sites. I’m at a loss! I KNOW she’s a fastback. Thoughts?????

What is your actual vin? We can double check it. Does all your vins match? Title vin, fender vins etc.?
I will have to look at my title to see how my fastback is stated? It may say coupe and the 2+2 somewhere. I don't know if it actually says "fastback"
It may have been converted to a fastback also at one point. There is at least one person in this group that has converted a few (Horsence)

Check your vin close. The third and fourth numbers should be 09. If it is 07 it is a coupe/hardtop. Maybe your 9 looks like a 7? What does you vin on the title say?
