Are they they same?

New blue for '06 is Vista Blue??? Did they just rename Sonic Blue?

They look very similar. Vista Blue is Sonic Blue without the purple haze.

thats right, a friend of mine who owns a body shop told me that sonic blue has purple mixed with it. The vista doesnt.

Vista Blue is the old Atlantic blue from the 98-00 Mustangs. Very nice color when its clean (and NO PURPLE!)

Actually I believe that Atlantic Blue is lighter than Vista blue, but it may just be because the paint is newer. A little off topic, but I like the purple haze in the Sonic blue since it makes it really stand out (plus its a chick magnet ).

The three blues are different. I wanted a Sonic Blue last year, but couldn't get one. Got a Vista Blue now, and I could go with either color. Some days I prefer the Vista, others I would rather have the Sonic.

Must be because the paint is newer, the paint codes are the same.

I had Atlantic Blue 00GT and it had quite a bit of purple pearl in it. It is a great color when clean and under any type of lighting at night.

I had an Atlantic Blue 99GT but never noticed the purple. Sonic Blue however has a lot of purple in it!

Bought an '06 Vista Blue

Well, I bought an '06 Vista Blue GT with 18" Wheels. I'll post some pics later today. As far as the color is concerned, I cannot tell a difference between the Vista Blue and the Sonic Blue.

I has an old '02 that was sonic blue and in the sun when clean, they both look the same to me. Maybe I'm just getting old.

On another not, I can't believe how long you guys are having to wait to get a GT?????

I went to the dealership, found the color I wanted, and bought it A-Plan.

There must be 50 GT's sitting on the lot, about half have 18" Wheel option. Almost all were "Premium"

Mine - a 2006 Vista Blue GT - Premium...
