Vista has arrived! Few concerns though!

Went to the dealer today to check out my car. I told my manager friend not to touch the car leave everything for me. She took the keys and stood watch on the lot. I asked her not to take off the tape on the car and when I went outside there was not tape on the bumpers. She said it came that way. Strange? Then I noticed the drivers side muffler was not put on straight nor lined up in the cutout. There is a notch in the top of the muffler and it was turned almost 1/2 in counterclockwise. I asked her if they can try to straighten it. I hope it's just a matter to tweaking. I'm probably going to change the exhaust anyway though in time. Other than that I cant wait! Picking her up tomorrow.

Good color choice! My car came with film on the bumpers, however there was another '06 Tungsten Grey that didn't have anything on the car; nothing whatsoever. Well, nothing except a splattering of bugs from the trip!

great color choice, too bad about the minor imperfections. Mine was built on the 3rd. so hopefully I should get it by the 15th. I hope that it comes protected from the elements like toms did. enjoy your first ride and dont forget the pics..

I think isaw your car heading your way monday night....lol I was on rt 40 in MD and isaw a brand new vista GT on a tractor trailer. haha that'd be cool if it was yours. But i know NO dealers down here are gettn GTs so it might have been, haha

Thats what i worry about, after the car gets there they let someone test drive it and they rip the car apart. When i test drove a GT the car was already sold. I didnt gun it in respect for the person who bought it, just drove it for the feel of the car. But i would be pissed if i found it with more then 5-7 miles on the car. I would make them get me a new one.

Don't worry about the mufflers - mine were way off when I got them, but now they're perfect. Just loosen them up, straighten them and re-tighten. It was a big deal to me because I'm keeping the stock mufflers, so I was relieved that it was pretty easy to fix. I actually had to loosen mine at the h-pipe on one side since they were so out of whack. One side was too high, and the other was too low - there was probably an inch difference in height!

It was built on a Thursday. I have also always heard the same thing. Monday is no good because they come back to work all banged up and tired and Firday they can't wait to get the hell out of there so you might hear "C'mon Frank forget about that last bolt lets get to the bar".

dude you know most of that stuff isnt true, lol most of the cars are built by machine now, lol and they dont install bolts one at a time, they have guns that do all of them at once. lol
