I'm trying to get my indicator light to work but no good so far. Should I be getting 12 volts at the light? I pulled the wires apart at the shifter and do not seem to be getting anything really. I have found it under teh dash and then it goes into the wiring harness. Any ideas what to do next? how do you replace the bulb? I tried a 12v jumper but the light did not come on either. i checked the ground and it was good. any suggestions before i put the shifter back together.

Thanks

its a simple circuit, if you have 12 volts and a ground then the socket or the bulb is bad. If you have a test light you can check if the voltage is getting to the tab in the bottom of the circuit, then put the bulb in and see if it's passing threw the bulb, if it is the ground is NG.

IF you dont have a test light, get one, it is the single most valuable tool for dc work.

just had a stupid thought, you do know the headlights have to be on for it to get power right?
