Hi guys,

I've just swapped my A-Trim out for a T-Trim... I'm running into one snag... the aluminum discharge tube won't fit. no matter which way I try it seems like the pipe is just to long and when I get it out one side I can't get it on the other... am I doing something wrong? do I need a different pipe or is there a procedure I'm missing out on

Take the rubber off both ends and see if it can even fit between the headunit and throttle body. If it can then you know something is happening with the alignment when you put the rubber on. Before you cut the pipe measure twice to make sure it's not something else going on. Good luck.

:nice: That's what I do, it is odd but I have had to trim a pipe down in the past....

I called Vortech and they told me it's not possible if I used this same pipe on an A-Trim... I was not impressed with there customer service department this time, they didn't even offer any suggestion... they just told me it should go right on which is not happening

The blower is clocked correctly in the brackets correct? It appears to be but it is hard to tell in the pic's.

Otherwise I would trim the pipe a little, you know all these aftermarket parts are supposed to "BOLT ON"...lol Years have told me nothing bolts on...
