What gains could i expect to see, with a (non intercooled) vortech sq v1 s/c

Then again how much more would a comp cams stage 2, s/c cam gain me?

Vortec SQ and Steeda/Cosworth tune I was at 365 rwhp with the stock exhaust. No idea where I'm at with Bassani X and CatBack, probably a few more.

With the S/C & exhaust you will probably be somewhere between 330 and 340. Depends on the dyno. The only real way to find out what your putting down is to take it to the track.

S/C + Stage 2 cams w/ stock internals = blown up motor.

Wouldn't it be really dangerous to put an SC in a car without some extra cooling unit like an intercooler? I mean wouldn't the engine be extremely prone to overheating at high speeds?

Ran mine all summer with no problem. Vortech sells them that way. But an intercooler would be better safer and faster

Plenty people run their SC'd cars here without intercoolers. Keep it at a reasonable level and you won't have problems

I would say 340-350 rwhp.
Also depends on the tune!
A intercooler will decrease chances
of detonation and give you a nice
power increase.The Vortech unit is
nice and dependable plus makes a
good rwhp increase too boot!
