I received a Mini Race Bypass valve from Summit the other day and it has two small scuffs on it and it looks like there has been a vacuum hose on it at some point. The instructions are also missing. The box looked fine and it was bubble wrapped neatly inside the box. Does Vortech's stuff usually come like that or did I get one someone used and then returned?

I've ordered a couple things from vortech and everything has been in brand new quality. I would give them a call, i would imagine they'll take care of it.

it was probably a returned item that wasn't properly inspected.

I'd call Summit though because it's most likely a problem on their end, not Vortech's.

Talked to Summit today... They are sending me a new one out no hassle at all. I got to looking at it more closely when I got off from work and it was definitely used. I could see where the bolts had left circular scratches on the mounting holes when they installed the bypass valve.
