vortech supercharger in efi 68??

I sold my 5.0..but kept the supercharged motor...im getting a 1968 289 manual coup - no motor / trans..and want to drop in my efi 5.0 with a t-5...but is it possible to run the vortech supercharger that i have?? iv seen people do it with paxtons....anyone done it?? thanks

i don't see any reason for it not to work.... this is assuming of course that it fits. you'll also need to be sure the rearend is up to the challenge.

where does the vortech mount? My Powerdyne fit, but I had to take out my EGR spacer so the pipe didn't hit the shock tower. My car is a 64, so my engine bay is smaller too I think:

I have a Powerdyne in mine although it is not totally together yet. (fast64stang) I am interested in how/where your Alt. ended up being mounted. I live fairly close (Blackshear, Ga) to you. My alt. is going to hit the frame on the bottom if I mount it on the blowers's braket.

worst case you have to fabicate or modify some supercharger brackets. Go for it.
