I just ordered a vortech supercharger and vortech air to water to air aftercooler. My engine is stock and I still have that piece of **** plastic intake manifold do you think my engine will be allright running 8psi for two weeks till I get new stage 3 P&P intake manifold from Tim and also will it continue to be alright until end of summer when I rebuild engine with forged parts. I don't plan on running it terribly hard in the mean time. Any help or knowledge is greatly appreciated. "Mille Grazie in advance mi pisan"

You'll be fine with the Vortech S/C and aftercooler. The plastic intake can be a problem if you were running nitrous. With an aftercooler, only 8psi, and a tune you will not hurt your engine with normal use. People with inter/after coolers generally run 10 psi or more on stock internals with 91 or higher octane. The aftercooler raises the safety factor by a lot ... all else being equal.
