Hey guys, my car is still up at the dyno and the only thing holding it back now is that its running out of fuel around 4k rpms. My dyno tuner suggested getting a t-rex and that if I can (which I know I can) install it myself to save money, then have him double check the tune once I get it on.

Heres my question. I found this on summit, which is a complete kit, but it says its only good for 87-93. If i remember, the fuel filters on a fox body are different from the sn95, but im not sure. Does anyone know if this kit will work for my car? Or if it doesn't can someone suggest another inline pump kit?

Heres the kit:

Thanks alot!

It put out 350hp and 365lbs of torque at 4500 rpms when it ran out of fuel. I have 36lb injectors so they should be fine. Im running 45psi of fuel pressure, and it starts to drop at 4500 rpms, and eventually gets down to like 10 psi at 5200.

You need larger injectors I think... I did an online calc and it estimates you need approx 47#ers... So I would be thinking to go to 60#ers... And maybe a high pressure pump. But a 255 should be able to keep up with that engine easy enough...

Is the AFPR going wacky due to the boost pressure?

buy either the t-rex or a similar boost-a-pump and put that on there and see what it does. make sure you have the vacuum tube on that runs from the AFPR to the intake. the injectors you have should be fine. i was running 24#s and dyno'd 390rwhp and didn't run out of fuel. thats with the 255lph pump, t-rex and an aeromotive AFPR.

EDIT: are you running an FMU at all?

No FMU, Yes the vacuum tube is on. When my car was on the dyno, it was dropping fuel pressure at 4500 rpm's like I was saying. It goes from around 45psi down to 20ish at 5k rpm's. My tuner is the one who said I needed the inline pump. The guy before me put the in tank pump in, so it might be different then the 255, but thats what he told me was in it.

Also, I have found that they make a kit specifcally for teh 94-98 guys, but only a few places have it, and none have it in stock.
