I am purchasing a new fuel pump. I have a Walbro 255lph pump, but it seems to have gone bad after some bad gas was allowed to get in it.

Is the Walbro 255lph pump still a good choice or are there other suggestion?

Just looked it up, the SVT focus is for returnless fuel systems. But it does flow 255 FYI.

Try Treperformance.com they have a 255 for $70 that they directly compare to Walbro and they have a 1 year warranty on theirs.

Thanks guys. Put the Walbro 225lph in today and it's back to normal.

I went with a fake walbro 255 pump from ebay and when I brought it to the dyno the fuel pressure was falling off at upper end. I replaced with the real Walbro and its steady all the way...
just my 2 cents ..

Quite true. The old adage "you get what you pay for".
