Want a little more power...1.7 RR's or New Cam?

Currently I have a "F" cam in my car and am looking for a little more power. I'm looking at either a new cam or upgrading to 1.7 RR's.

Which is the easier and better option? I am leaning toward the 1.7 RR's becuase I use nitrous and the duration the F cam and 1.7 RR's will give me will be pretty good yet still gaining lift during N/A operation.

Any thoughts? Thanks.

What "off the shelf" cam would you guys recommend? I believe I'm good on piston to valve clearance.

could you be alittle more descripive on what exactly you combo is now (IE: Stock block? Pistons?) other mods...

Do you want to pull harder up top? or more power down low? where are you not happy?

Daily driver? weekend racer?


you realise a custom grind from ed curtis is only like low $3 somethin right? (Atleast it was 4 years ago when i bought one) that would really be your best bet....
