I'm watching this thread. Let it be known I don't want to PM anyone about their sig size now that bigcat has reminded everyone about the size limits.

It's really easy: If you get your sig made in this thread (or if you make it yourself), and it's the wrong size, beware. Should you choose to use it (it's YOUR responsibility to make sure it fits the rules), and it's in violation, we'll TURN it off for quite a long time (look at SRT's sig, for example).

And to SRT: it's great that you're volunteering to do this, but make sure you abide by the rules with the finished product.

Here you go, resized to off-site hosting pixel requirements...

Just put this in your signature without the spaces between the image tags.

Question to moderators,

why are the requirements for Sig Images so Small?

....i have been noticing that alot of other forums allow bigger images. Bimmerforums.com for example is very strict with there image size guidelines in sigs max size is 600 pixels wide and 240 pixels high

bandwidth, they're spending money to host information and conversations, not images. Plus the wider you allow sig the longer pages become, and the less you can read of people's responses w/out scrolling more

just remember guys, there are size limits to the pics can have in your sig. please refer to the terms of service for more information, but here are the basics:

* For images in signatures: 1 image up to 500 pixels wide, 100 pixels tall and 20k in size for SN hosted images.

* 650 pixels wide, 125 pixels high for off-site hosted images

i see quite a few here that don't meet these requirements please adjust as necessary. thanks.

god damn..thanks for the repost..hold on guys..ur gunna have to wait till i can resize them

romancer..let me know if you have a problem with yours..although the height is like 25px over, the actual size 360x149 isnt 600x125. 600x125 is bigger than 360x149 so i think ur alright

heres the updated 1 2001:
if it looks the same, ur gunna have to clear out your temp internet files..its changed on my photobucket account
