If you could I (and probably others) would like to know what the weights are for the steel hood and what the CF one ends up being.

I don't know about your hood, but my Maverick hood went from 32lbs to 12lbs iirc.
That is full frame, hinge mount, with stock latch.

Yeh it only weighed 32lb to start with? That seems light, but if that's what it was, that's what it was. Thanks for the info!

Yeah, that's what I thought too, however we are talking about a Maverick.
That's why I was leery about comparing to a 69-70 Stang.
Those hoods are quite a bit bigger to start with.
If you knew the weight of stock, you could probably figure the CF weighs about 1/3 of that.
