want to run 11's

what will it take for me to get into the 11's naturally aspired im tired of 12's. i have a 302 block to work with and a 351w 40 over to work with. i have 3.73 gears aluminum driveshaft, underdrives, lakewood struts and springs, southside traction bars in the rear.

lakewood struts and springs, southside traction bars, aluminum driveshaft, 3.73 gears, underdrives, e303, and heads from a 69 port and polished to the max with 2.00 and 1.98 valves, t-5. thats on my 302. my best time is 12.8 on slicks. seriously wanna do somthing with the 351 tho

With the 351, TFS Stage 2 cam, AFR 185s, Edelbrock Performer RPM II intake.

150 Shot? Blower? or do the 351W but stroke it!

Id say better heads and cam and go for some low 12s. If you have a stock intake, dump that as well. A good set up on a 302 can run in the 11s N/A with the right driver and suspension.

The 351 would be fun to build and run, but might become a headache. Might be cheaper and easier to stick with the motor in there now!
