This may seem like a dumb question but AFR 205's are setup for a sollid roller cam. I have a 418 setup for a hydr. roller cam. What would it take to get these heads to work with a hydr. cam? Just a different set of springs or something?
Well i guess i should ask would it be worth it to convert the heads or just get new lifters and stuff?
Im looking to make this a semi streetable engine. Don't want to mess with adjusting valves all the time. Ideally looking for around 500 rwhp NA or 6-700 rwhp with a blower. Right now i have a complete 418 with tfs heads, TFS r intake, and an X cam... Looking to swap all of those out with AFR 205's, probe spyder intake, and a FTI cam... But ED said that those heads are for solid roller cam.
