You might try repairing the bolt with a metal-filled epoxy or welding it. If that doesn't work, you might have to go to a parts yard that has one- I've never seen that part in a catalog.

Might be tough item to find in a European junkyard. I'm sure someone here can get him a replacement. Shipping it over there is no sweat, just takes a trip to the local post office and send it Priority Mail.
