Wanting to run boost

I am wanting to run about 6lbs of boost through a KB. My motor has 180,000 miles but it has good compression and runs stong. Or do I just need to rebuild the motor befor the KB. Keep in mind 6-7lbs of boost

Rebuild now and at YOUR convenience. The lowend power of the KB is going to put a hurtin on your motor sooner or later.

You will probably end up wanting more than 6lbs. Anyways, you can put it on if you want, but just be prepared for the engine to go. It may last 100 miles, or 20k plus more. turbo5.0 or some name like that (multicolor car), had n20, vortech, kenne bell then a turbo. I think he was at 200k with those.

The car was lady driven, and since I have owned it I have only put 9,000 miles in 4 years. It is not my daily driver so that should no be to bad on it.

I will be putting new heads and cam and rocker before the KB.
