Does anyone know for sure whether or not you void your warranty by adding an UDP ??? I have a 2002 and the warranty won't be up until August 2005 so what am I looking at here. Thanks for all your help.
I don't know for sure. If you do change your pulleys, keep the stock ones. That way if you need to take your car to Ford, you can just put the old ones back on.
Any aftermarket piece, (usually) unless installed by a professional, will void warranty. I still have my stock intake and exhaust ready to put back on if I need warranty service.
if the part you replace meses up something then your warranty on what it messed up of if it its self messes up is voided. even though that is the law some ford places are ass holes and will not do the work even though they have to by law. they will probably not notice a pulley they never did mine.
Keep your origional stuff. That's the first rule of doing any mods. there's some dealerships who can't but will deny service if you've made any slight modifications. By law, they have to prove to you that your mod caused the problem. I still have all my stock parts...however I have a third set of cats that aren't being used if anyone wants them (off of a 2001).
