Most dealerships don't provide a "loaner" car when you take a car in for warranty work theses days, but someone told me if you have warranty work done on a SVT product they are required to give you a loaner. Is this true?

Yes you get a loaner, the crappyest most beat to hell focus you have ever seen. BTW you get a free vaccum and wash, too.

I heard that Ford GT owners that have been bringing the cars back for recall work get Focus rental cars too.

It's true... they have to provide you with a loaner or a rental if no loaner is available for the duration of the warranty repair process. I use Carl-Gregory in Auburn and they usually drive me down to the Enterprise rent-a-car place and snag me some wheels there. Last time I had mine in for the head replacement I got a Chevy Silverado as a loaner.

As for the wash & vacuum, cause I wouldn't really call it a "Detail"... they will do that if you ask them too. They don't do it automatically at Carl-Gregory. I don't mind them vacuuming my snake out, but I'll do the washing myself thank you!
