So I feel like I've searched everything thread I can find and can't find anything like what I have happening. So the car is a 94 v6 that's Vortech Supercharged. I recently replaced my heads as they had a crack in them. I had the block checked and it looked all good. The car doesn't seem to want to circulate water now and it builds up a massive amount of pressure in the cooling system. I turn the heat on in the car and theres no heat letting me know that water isn't circulating to the heater core. I told the lines off and you can blow from one line by the heater core and make water come out the other. I replaced the water pump thinking that could be it but that made no difference. I tried to burp the system by filling it up as much as I could then jacking the front end of the car up and letting the air make its way out with the cap off. Even doing this it still doesn't want to circulate water to the heater core. If I take the car out and drive it it reads as not getting hot at all to one second later reading super hot so it sounds like air in the system. I bought a new radiator cap with the lever for pressure relief on it and if you try that lever even after the cap has been closed for one second it has massive pressure on it. I just can't seem to find out what's happening with this thing. It seems like it's pushing pressure out of the combustion chamber and into the water jacket but all of that stuff was just replaced and it was all done right.

If there's any more info I can add to help let me know but I just really can't seem to find out what's happening with this darn thing. I have a new radiator coming in a few days from now but I still don't think that that's it.

Any help would be absolutely wonderful I'm so fed up with this car at this point.

So I found out earlier when I was messing around trying to find out what was wrong that the freeze plug on my new heads did not seal properly when the head company installed them. That would probably be the cause of some of the air entering the system as the system cools. I also found and followed the proper set of steps for filling the system the right way with the vent bolt and even back filled through there when i filled it and it seemed to make some difference. I replaced the freeze plug and the car seems to be working fine now. I'll check back in a few days from now with results of everything.
