Water pump goin bad?

Ok I just noticed today when I park I get a drip of green anitfreze on the ground. I have been loosing coolant the over flow after time as well. I couldnt see from above and couldnt get the car in the garage tojack it up do to my project car not being movable. Anyhow the drop is hitting the front sway bar and it hangs and drips off the sway bar around the center of the car which has me thinking the water pump is leaking on the pully? Anybody else have this same exact problem?

I had it happen on a V6 once, gasket was shot.

Look for a stain coming from the weep hole.

wheres the weep hole? Ill have to check it out when I can get it in jacked up. Is there any other possibility besides water pump? Judging from where it drips? I think its been like this for a few months as Ive lost a lil coolant in the overflow. Im debating on fixing it now or waiting till it gets worse since I have almost no time to do it.

The weep hole is on the bottom of the pump, under the pulley shaft. When the bearings in the pump start to go, the hole starts to let coolant pass. It runs out the hole, leaving a stain and drip.

Any of the hoses on the front of the motor could be leaking as well. You'll just to have take a look. A cooling system pressure tester can help narrow it down quickly.

Im gonna check it out..I figure since my temp doesnt get hott and its not excessive yet im gonna be lazy and wait a month max before I do it. Ill change my serp belt too..anything else ie preventive maitnence I should do while I have the pump off?
