Water pump pulley bolts...where can I find them?

I have been running an electric fan for a while and Im going back to stock, and of coarse the stock shroud is not matching the alum radiator and the flange on the new replacement fan clutch is to fat to allowing the mounting of it with my aftermarket under drive pulleys using the stock bolts..Is this normal? I would like longer bolts but this is some ****ed up hard to find metric threads that I cant seem to find. Anyone ran into this before OR know where I can get some longer bolts.?

Well I have figured out why they are too short for the fan mounting flange. The motor Im using in mu car came from a 1994. I did switch the water pump and timing cover to the fox set up but did reuse the water pump pulley bolts from the 1994 and have been running an electric fan on my car until now. The SN95 cars come stock with an electric fan hince why the bolts are too short. Now heres the question................Where can I get some 1979-1993 5.0 pump pulley bolts???? Or does anyone know the thread pitch and size? It matches nothing I have or at the hardware store.....I need to solve this so I can drive my car....

Got it figured out, and Lowes nor Home Depot has them, in fact they have a pathetic hardware section compared to ACE down the road for me. I figured if those 2 dont have them no one will. ACE not only had the right bolt and right length but have them in standard finish and stainless steel. The water pump pulley bolts are 5/16" x 24. The more common thread for a 5/16" diameter bolt is 18, hince why these are hard to find. The 94-95 pulley bolts are only long enough to hold the pulley on. To use a fan clutch setup you need the to be 3/4" - 1" long. :nice:
