Water pump... pullies ?

i took out my ac and power steering pump and ran the belt from the crank alternator and water pump.... now my car is overheating ???? which way is the water pump supposed to spin clockwaise or counter ? haha i could have been an ass and ran it backwards

make sure the WP pulley is on the outside of the belt, hence the flat side of the belt touches the pulley. the belt will only spin one direction. and if you put the belt on like i said, you CANT have it sping backwards.

you may have to get and idler pulley somewhere
