well, for one u should use the search more often because we just did a topic like this not to long ago. but just to spit it out, most of us use diluted vinigar. I did it about a week ago and it took out all the old hard water spots, and didnt leave any new ones. The vinigar shouldnt harm you paint, as long as your not washing your car with straight vinigar
