Hello All. I am having a Heck of a time removing my water temperature sensor on my 93 Foxbody. Does anyone have ANY tips on removing the sensor WITHOUT breaking the side holders?

The sensor itself or removing the connector from the wiring harness to connected to the sensor?

The sensor itself. The above video didn’t help.

The original coolant temp sensor is no longer available from Ford, so they provide the later style sensor with a new wiring pigtail to splice on

Motorcraft DY1145

If oyu want something you can use with existing harness, try a Four Seasons 36407, or a GPD 1711355 sensor.
