waterpump studs

ok so i broke the top two studs on the waterpump and their stuck in the timing cover. questions:

1. where can i buy these stud bolts? is it dealer only?
2. i cant remeber what the stud part of the bolts hold, does anyone have a picture or know which bracket the top studs hold on to and if you need them? was thinking i could just drill the broken bolts out and use a nutt and bolt for the waterpump but that leaves whatever the studs hold without a mount.

or is there somewhere i can get smaller stud bolts if i have to drill them out? i dont feel like redoing the threads and having a problem later, if i really have to ill remove the timing cover and buy a new one which would be tedious and dumb.
