Hey stangers, this seems all to common on these boards, car is getting all hot and bothered, and I am looking into purchasing a new waterpump I believe. Which ones do you guys like. I have been looking at a few. Here they are JEGS ($74), Edelbrock Victor ($144), TMD of ebay ($64), Ford Racing ($174), SUMMIT ($75).
The only time my car is getting hot is when its a nice hot day and I am sitting in solid traffic for 20 minutes in DC. I replaced last fall everything, New 3 core radiator, 180tstat, New fanclutch and fan blade. Car operates normally at 195, and then sitting in traffic 210, and if I am sitting for a really long time 225. Thanks guys for your responses.-J

I think that an electric fan will do you more good than a water pump especially in traffic. I have also heard that the performance water pumps are not really worth the money. just my .02

TTT, well I am open to suggestions. Here is my problem, I like the electric fan setup, but I want a simple bolt on fan with easy wiring. I don't want one that I have to get a different location for the overflow bottle. Black magic fans look good, but from what I hear the dont have very good CFM.
**Back to my main concern is I dont want to just put a bandaid on by getting a fan. There is no reason my car should be getting that hot. The water pump is 13 years old. So I assume that since it is the only thing that hasnt been touched that its got to be it.-J
