Nope, and I've never heard of anyone else have that problem, just speculations and rumors from someone's brother's sister's friend's uncle's neigbhor's 16 year old that had a matchbox 96 GT which had problems

You also don't need gaskets for the Dorman.

Thanks alot Outlaw!
What other parts would you need to make it all work?
Also does Auto Quest or Autozone sell this Dorman PI
intake? What year PI intake would you order it for so,
it will work on my 96 GT?

You would need to use some silicone or plates for the intake. I think (not sure) that autozone can get dorman parts.
You would need the PI intake, thats 99-2004.

Do a search on PI intake, you will find all the how-to threads. Alot of good info....

Glad I could help.....

Ok I can give you some good advice on this part. DON'T BUY USED HEADS. If you do, don't be a dumbass like me and not have them check out by a machine shop. I had to pay MD an extra $1200 because of this.....
Also, if you can, I strongly suggest getting comp or vt cams since you'll be in the engine anyway. They ARE expensive though.

Edit: Nevermind the used head thing, just read you are buying the Parkway kit.

Also being smog legal? I want your input :SNSign:

If you don't switch to PI heads, I would swap gears and get a good set of underdrives like steeda's. These will give you your cheapest performance improvements.

At least work went by faster Outlaw.
I will either do the PI headswap or get the PI intake and cams
but, I am not sure if I will get a KB or Procharger in the future
so, I will have to think about it. Thanks everyone.
