Ways to tell you blew a shock...???

is there any way to be sure... i push on my left rear and all i hear is clunk clunk clunk... lol... i think this means i blew out a shock...

edit.... i think i lied... my quad shock is just hanging by one bolt....

The quadshock should not make any noticable difference in the compression of the body (when you push down on the car). If you were not having any compression/rebound issues (and it was just a noise you were after), then it sounds like you found the issue.

If you have funky rebound/compression, ensure the shock is bolted up at both ends and check for oil leaking down the body.

no problems when i pushed down id just hear a click noise... this was the problem... i had the right size bolt in grade 8 in the garage... problem solved!
