So I'm getting ready to put the engine and drivetrain back into the car. The hoist adaptor plate that I'm using is a universal from Parts Store X and it looks like it's made for a carbed car and not a fuel injected car.
I took this adaptor plate and drilled new holes in it to match up with the 6 center holes on the Typhoon lower intake.
My question is:
If I want to bolt the tranny to motor before I drop it in, will the whole assembly be too much weight to put on the adapter plate and the 6 center bolts of this aluminum lower intake?
I ask because long tube headers are also going in and it look like a huge PITA to bolt the tranny to the bell housing once they and the engine are in the car.
Thanks in Advance.
