weight reduction

Hey guys i just got through assemblyin my carbed 331 i really need to get my car under 3000lbs lol.......here is what i have done so far, rearseat is gone,spare,jack,all insulation is gone, all the efi junk is gone, frontswaybar is gone, ac system is gone and heater core is gone.....what else guys?

Ok,put the rear sway bar BACK ON,and take the front one off...

Modular2,wasnt this more of a drag car?

If you go with a C4 you will drop close to 50lbs there.A C4 is only bout 80lbs!

Fiberglass parts are deffinitaly worth it.And a big thing,if you dont mind the look is the stock wing.Take it off.

try front and rear bumper..all the computer harness b.s. you dont need.

Chop the top off.

Edit:I hope you know I wast kidding,cause If you actualy chop the top off your mustang off....I dont know I guess youd be pretty cool then,until it rains that is.

The the redundant under-dash bracing.Thats stuff is a PITA.

heads, k member, f-glass hood, wheels, at least the front for drag racing, pass seat, ac, emissions(don't know what you have left), also the actual bumper and accessories if racing, but if driven then leave on. If you're fat, you can lose some weight lol.

lol i only weigh 170lbs.....i have a set of afr heads that i plan on puttin on soon......the engine bay is very striped

Tubular k-member in the budget with some new a-arms in the budget? Is this a track machine only or you gonna drive it on the street too?
