Okay, so I'm no stranger to the little electrical "quirks" in Ford's wiring that give our cars some of their charm, but this one really has me stumped. Sometimes, just... sometimes, whenever it feels like it, really, my car decides the turn signals AND heater controls are going to stop working in unison. When it happens, flipping the turn signal lever up and down does nothing, and the HVAC knobs, though still lit up, do not activate the heat or a/c, they do nothing. Are these two functions linked in the harness somehow?? I don't think it's a fuse problem because it comes and goes sporadically. In any case, it sure is weird. Has anyone had this problem or can someone suggest a solution? Thanks in advance and sorry for typing a novel. :D

Chris :nice:

Check your ignition switch. The switch bottom can become loose from the top just enough to allow the Hvac controls and blinkers to not work. I had this problem before. You can replace the switch or just zip tie it together for a cheap fix.

thnks for the tip, i've never had a fox steering column open before or anything like that, would you happen to have any pics or a diagram on what to do/how to do it? sorry for sounding like a true noob on here :nonono:
