this really wacky! i let my car warm up in the morning and i drive to work. i stop at a stop sign and instead of my car idling at 800rpm's, it will idle at 1k-1.1k rpms instead. im not sure why it is doing this. later on i drive away and it will go away then it will come back again. when i shut the car off, it goes away completely until today. i shut the car off today, drive away and stop, it comes back. i am going to check my TPS sensor and see if it went out of wack or something but has anyone been through this before?

your car just has to get used to this american air....a lot less pollution....haha....by the way, how much did it cost you to ship the car over here?

well i adjusted my TPS and it seemed to fix it but i wont know till i drive it tomorrow. the sensor was at .92 and i took it to .99 and it idled better.

my shipping was free all the way to tacoma thanks to the govt! i felt sorry for my car cuz when it pulled up, it looked like total sh&t from shipping. it was very dirty and i was so used to driving my wifes brand new RX8. the car looks great now!

definetly could be throttle is sticking if its not slowing down with your foot off the gas. try opening it up and spraying some wd40 or graphite on the throttle blade. maybe give it a good cleaning also
