Well, I just got back from cruising around with my buddies, and I had a slight problem. While we were out, this kid in a turbocharged VW golf looking car decided to mess with me. After my friends suggested I crush him, I did. I flew off a stoplight and basically had him by three car lengths till the next light. He gave me more looks, so this time I let him pull about two car lengths and then I flew by him anyway. It was kinda funny. Anyway, when we got back to my buddies house, I could hear this weird hum coming from the engine bay. I got worried, and we started looking. I found that it was the thin walled vacuum line that I had connected to my PVC valve and my AFPR (it's got a T in it with two lines out to the two items.). The vacuum was so strong it was making the hose collapse and causing it to make a fart like noise. I replaced the hose with a thicker one, and the buzzing went away. After that, I walked around the back of the car and saw alot of visible exhaust coming out of the car. It was dark grey/black, so I know it wasn't oil or water. It smelled really rich. I tried messing with the idle and such, but it was still rich. I ended up leaving, and dropping my other buddy off. At his house, it was still puffing rich fumes which were visible. I returned home, went out back, and the exhaust was back to normal. No rich smell, no cloud, just normal. What's up with that???
Is it anything to worry about, or was my car just being a gas pig for a while? Mods in sig, fuel pressure @ 41PSI, 93 octane, stock injectors.
