I got this intake when i bought my car i have no use for it but i was told it was ported because of the weld on the intake...news to me...the runners are the same size as the ones on another intake i have. but i also couldnt figure out why there was a weld mark all the way around it....

It has been cut and welded back together.

Most likely someone cut it open and ported the runners inside then welded it back up.

this is my 90lx's intake, the lower was massively ported, it would fit a 1260 gasket perfect.

I have finally convinced my brothernlaw to do this project. He is going to put his old 347 back together. He already has a set of p-heads that he ported several years ago and didn't use. We are going to grind the bars off the heads and take the gtp markings off. Then, port a stock intake and use a stock cam with 1.7RR. His car is already stripped and has a cage from his previous 347. I really think power can be in the upper 300 range at the flywheel. It should be really cool and look like a stock motor.

Unfortunately, this will be done on his time and coin, so it may take a while. But last time I talked to him, he was on board with it. Will be neat to see.
