Fired up the fuel system for the first time tonight, and we found this injector pissing fuel out of the seam between the black and brown section of the injector, just under the clip. Talked to the guy, he will try to get one out asap.. Either way I have a spare one from a buddy...

Anyways, the car is 99% back together, waiting on a V-Band clamp, and some odds and ends. Car should be running tonight. The entire winter is riding on tonight.... My stomach hurts.

Are you still using the stock short block? What kind of numbers are you looking for with the TFS heads and Eddy intake? Looks awesome!

That's an R302. And I'm not sure what the peak power it can hold, more then enough since the big dogs use them.. I would like to say 1500+

Block fill them, then I'm sure it's more then enough for 2000

what did you end up doing with the breathers/VC's? Did you close the VC's up with a cap, or what? What about the PVC, just curious..

kickass, by the way! Dont forget that start up video, we all want to see!

Yea yea.. I know.. The stock block.. bla bla bla

What can i say, I wanna see how hard I can push that stocker, but I doubt I will drive the car hard enough to break the block, at least not until after the summer.

Breather setup you can see in the pic below. Two -8 bungs welded to the valve covers, going to a breather tank next to the radiator over flow. And I had a Cap welded on that I bought from Chassisworks.com (see pic)

Anyways...

Boooyaaa!!!

Well, it didn't fire right up because of some dumb mistakes on my part, but after chasing them down, about 1 hour later, I had a running Turbo Mustang!!!! I had a loose Rocker arm, which you can hear in the video, but that's fixed already... Car idles good, and is pretty throaty.. i should have it on the road in a few days...

Video clip of it running

Cigars and beers on Dan!!! Thanks to Jeff and Dan for the all their help!!

Ahhh.. the switches.. Wouldn't you like to know

Ok, I'll let ya in on the secret.. My boost controller, the 2 5/8's gauge you see in the radio area, has a cool little feature.. I like to call it 'juice for the turbo". Basically, at the flip of a switch, I can run a higher/lower boost level depending on what I want..

Blue = Low boost
Green = Med boost
Red = "Oh no you didn't just piss me off" type of chit

So basically, if a car is pulling on me, all I do is throw the red switch, bam go from 10psi to 15psi in the flip of a switch.

That setup took me about 2 days to wire up.
