Yes I went to Chevy BUT I STILL HAVE MY BABY (94 COBRA). I got a 1998 SS Camaro with an LS2 stroked to 402 and WOW is this thing fast. I traded my 99Escalade for it. the motor has just been finished with about 6,000 miles ont it. The engine came from Lubbock Texas. The car itself has only 66000 miles on it and it looks great. The heads are too small for the displacement of the engine so Ill be changing those soon. It has a Fast 90 intake, custom grind cam, long tubes, TB, and a slew of other stuff and the engine is all forged. On motor alone it should be a 10 second car with the right flowing heads. Also I got my Cobra project almost finished. I switched from EFI to carb. Its running but needs a little tuning and tweaking. All forged 302 with Roush 200 heads, Edelbrock Performer intake, custom grind cam, Proform 750 Carb, juice and boost. I know this block wont last long but when it goes it will be a good reason for a Dart block. Ill post pics of both cars when they are cleaned up.

The brothers who raced on Pinks ( both F-bods) that is prob. the best show to date in my opinion, the LSx based car in that episode is IIRC the fastest 6spd LSx in the country (or it was at one point not too long ago anyway).

IIRC the LSx brothers car is a 402 or something 6.0 based block or something...I am not too up on the LSx stuff.

I didnt see that episode but I did hear about it. I was gonna take pics today but its been raining all morning and day long so thats not gonna work out with a camera. I know you guys dont mean anything about ribbing me for getting a Camaro but at least its not a Supra or anything else Japanese, right?

I honestly dont hate. Buddie of mine sold his 98gt for a 98 formula. They are nice motors...I dont know about them with higher miles (I have not seen to many last that long) though.

Even with some of the import stuff I dont knock. Supra's are NICE...just something about spending 40+k for a 10yr old car and then more in mods I dont like.

to me there is a diff. from rice and a gear head no matter what brand of car.

Stroked they can go out to 427. Usually on the 6.0 Iron blocks.

My buddies 98SS on H/C/I stock shortblock and 150 shot went 10.80. and he cant drive worth ****.

Welcome to the most mis-understood group...........people that have both
