Well, insurance adjuster from other side just left

Big waste of my time, and effort.
Basically they told me that
"well, you might have had a nice car. And we are sorry that one of our insured hit your car. But you know what? as far as we can see, and we've been doing this for 25 years, is that 1/4 panel fixed to industorial standard. It may be off, but not off enough to do anything about it. Basicaly, you got hit, and unfortunatlly, your car will never be perfect. Ford allows 2 to 3 mm of tolllorance on their cars, and yours is well with in that."

And said that if i can prove them that its fixed wrong beyound industry standard by other shop, then we'll be more then happy to help you out.

Then killer is that
"Oh and i talked to Lynn(manager of Ford bodyshop I was originally planned to have letter wretten), so that i can see other mustang thats in their lot(2000 V6), that gap is off on that more then your car(which tells me that that one prolly had an accident as well)"

So since Lynn was my last shot, that pretty much shot anychance i might have had, now that i know they(insurance co.) is in close contact with them...

So i just have to live with car thats fixed wrong, because some ******* hit my car. My car is fixed wrong, and thats with in industrial standard

Pressure them for a check for the deminished value of the car, and use that to have it fixed correctly, or apply it to the down payment if you decide to get something else.

see thats gonna be hard. If my car is admittably messed up, yes, i can persue that.
but Unfortunately, according to insurance adjuster, its fixed well within so called indurtrial standard set by who knows. So how am i going to argue deminished value with the party who states car is fixed within reasonable industrieal standard, there for no loss of value(i know if its hit, its value is no longer same, but way they see it is that If its fixed right in their eyes, then there is no loss value)

and 68torinogt, want Vert next...

Dimished value has nothing to do with how well it was fixed, well a little, but mostly it has to do with the fact that now everybody does a carfax and it will show up as being wrecked. Your dimished value is the difference between what you could have sold it for before the wreck and waht you could sell it for now that it has a blemish on the carfax record.

well, i'll contact one of their guy from site that you posted, and see. What do i have to lose right?

Mity see what the insurance company would buy the car for and if its lower than the value they'd normally give due to that defect then that should be proof right there that it's a loss to you and should be covered.

Here's a link to the PA Insurance Dept. - http://www.ins.state.pa.us/ins/site/default.asp?papowerPNavCtr=|30126|#30159
I'd contact them to see if they agree with that insurance company or if he's just giving you their standard line.

mity sorry about your problems once agian that sucks. Its nice and all but i say look into some cobras. If your gonna get a 01 then i say find one for around 14-16k with 50k miles. When i was looking that was what they were going for in our area. And now with winter coming you should be able to get them for cheaper.

Return your car to stock and buy a cobra...then you can put the wheels on it and do some engine work. The interiors on the cobras are way nicer anyway.:nice:
